3 Day ride to loop around Texas with stops overnight at points where we think we have had enough. Total loop distance is about 1200k’s so 400k days should not be too much of a struggle.
A long way in some pretty ordinary weather, the ‘Bird ticked over 50,000kms just outside Cobar on the outward leg.
Went for a ride to Jerry’s (Harley crash in the bush opposite), Mangrove Dam and then onto Wollombi, home via Sandy Creek Road.

Someone else had whacked the tree and had painted ‘FKN TREE’ on it.
This was Pockets first ride with us and on his ‘new’ FJR 1300. Just don’t ask him to find his phone 🙂
Planning underway for a long weekend (6th, 7th & 8th June) ride to Texas after a ride sub-committee splitter group [Mohawk, Killswitch & Nige 🙂 ] met at the Wallarah Bay Recreation Club for coffee and lunch while you were all at work.
