Mexican KLunkeRs
Mohawk and Nige have headed south into the Victorian high country on their trusty KLR650’s.
Spent the first night in Tumut and the second camping at Swifts Creek, south of Omeo.
Boiling the billy before the dirt section.
Had a wardrobe malfunction with the rack.
A hut? Could it be Jabba?
The Washington Winch. Same engine as KLunkeRs.
Bentley’s Hut

Playing tricks on the locals at The Caves Hotel – Buchan. Dale WAS amused 😉
Camping at Buchan Caves… Oh the serenity! Very hard to find a flat spot …. flat not wet.
Breakfast of chumpions 😉 Nige managed to burn his beans.
Not quite Jenolan but .. Tick! Nige a tourist for 40 minutes.
You can go anywhere on a KLunkeR.
250m long McKillop’s Bridge.. no not Mary.
Read the sign. Would you expect, while travelling a steep and rocky descent to a couple of creek crossings, to encounter an old Commodore driven by a young girl on her pink “P’s” attempting to reverse her way back up the track until she could turn around? I guess the sign k’s before did say “Taralga” and that’s where she/they were heading.
Despite the trigger happy locals, the KLunkeRs got us through.
Jerry showing Nige the love.
Greta trip, great roads, great scenery. Every NIge should have a klunker. Met some very interesting people on the way. And we ended up at Jerry’s!
