umm…errr…Scrounger’s ‘new’ ride

Moto Guzzi V50 Monza 1982 model 500cc, arrived by courier Tuesday. I’ve been advised that I should mention the Honda CX500 in a respectful manner and demonstrate some remorse at it going to the ‘great God of ebay’……..mmmmm…..ok, now moving on. For those of you interested in surveys & statistics, the Honda lasted just under 4 months – please, no more surveys! Also, for those interested in getting a bike picked-up or delivered anywhere – I used Fergussons Transport, please contact me before going with that company.

  1. Now, this looks like a ‘keeper’! The red makes it look fast already! Hope it can overtake the odd country ute at 120kmh like the cowboy we encountered in the upper Hunter a few rides back. Good luck with it Scrounge. Looking forward to a club ride soon. Keys

  2. Nice ride Scrounger. Hope it is going well for you.

  3. Nice colour Scounger. Italian too… I married an italian. They are known for the enjoyment of being ridden hard early in their life but as the years progress, they are reluctant to fire…. Guzzis that is… not my wife (of course).
I note in picture three there is a spare engine in the background.
