Karijini to Port Hedland
Rode from Tarijini National Park to Port Headland along the Great Northern Way for another 380kms of nothingness.
Spent the morning packing up and then went to visit some of the gorges in park. Fern Pool was a special place.
We had a few dead ones in the morning after watching a movie on my laptop under the stars.
Briz looking his best.
A large group arrived late the previous evening and made a lot of noise at both ends of the day.
Indiana Brizzer purveying the lay of the land.
Long range shot of Briz at Fortesque Falls. We both nearly had a coronary climbing back up.
Fern Pool really was a special place and we now regret sooking out and not taking the plunge for a swim (it was bloody cold)
A very small photo of me polluting Fern Pool by immersing my boof head.
Very disappointed with the park, toilets were locked and not a lot of thought had been put into provisioning for the enormous number of people wanting to visit.
Left for a reasonably uneventful ride through the Hamersley Ranges to arrive at the very confused place known as Port Hedland. Set up camp at Point Cook Caravan Park and went in to a local pub for dinner. Bought a slab of the local brew on the way back to camp.
